Iain MacAskill
Iain joined the practice in June 2023 as an assistant solicitor but was previously a partner in a large regional firm and has practised family law for over 25 years.
He has very significant experience in advising on relationship breakdown, whether for married or unmarried couples. His preference, wherever reasonably possible, is to resolve matters by agreement, cost effectively and quickly. However, when necessary, he will take all steps to protect and secure his client’s interests by commencing and pursuing court proceedings.

Outside of work, Iain has numerous interests including literature, music, theatre and sport.
